Our Team

Our team is currently led by a senior team comprising of a company Legal Secretary, and also the Head of our Mapping Department and a Director of Operations.

Here is a detailed profile of our leadership:

Obasuyi Omorodion Bright (Esq.) – Company Legal Secretary.

Obasuyi Omorodion Bright (Esq.) has over a decade experience and specialization in Property Law and is extremely knowledgeable about property matters on the Ajah-Ibeju- Lekki axis. Mr. Obasuyi is versed in property law and Public Relations. He has extensive experience both as former Company Secretary for a Real Estate Company as well as community liaison officer for a number of communities in the Ajah- Ibeju-Lekki axis.
Mr Obasuyi currently works as a Public Relations Officer at Desicon Engineering Limited in Port Harcourt where he coordinates all public relations activities of the Company amongst other responsibilities.
Mr. Bright Obasuyi graduated with Second Class Upper Division both at the Department of Law at the Ambrose Alli University in 2006 and at the Nigerian Law School, Abuja in 2007.
He began his law career at the J.O Olueh & Co. in Lagos in 2008 and is Head of Chamber at Bryte Legal & Company in Lekki, Lagos.


Mr. Hakeem Bayemi – Head, Mapping Department.

Mr. Hakeem Bayemi is a Mapping Official for Imperium Real Estate & Construction Ltd. He possesses over 30 years work experience as the principal officer on Land Use, Mapping/Layout Preparation at the New Town Development Authority (NTDA), Lagos State.

Mr. Bayemi and his team prepared the Layout / Amendments and General Monitoring of Development in Lekki Peninsula Scheme 1 and 2, Ibeju Mix Development, Abijo G.R.A Scheme amongst others.

An extremely dedicated professional, Mr. Bayemi’s professional qualification includes memberships of the Nigerian Institute of Town Planners (MCPDP) 2003 and The Town Planners Registration Council (TOREC) 2003.

Other certifications include CAD and Drafting Certification 2005, Nigerian Cartographic Association 2008 and School of Estate Certification, 2010.

Mr. Bayemi has worked as Chief Consultant on Real Estate & Building for Obak Nig Ltd, Agro-Allied Ltd, Al-Ajusta Ltd and Delkotem Ltd.

Mr. Bayemi is a passionate Chess player.


Egwuatu Nneka – Director of Operations

Egwuatu Nneka’s favorite motto is “The best company places customers’ needs at
the forefront of other considerations”. In the world of real estate, such needs are
property location, integrity of service, speed of service and return on investment
(ROI) for investors.
Leveraging on her impeccable record in client service delivery, property portfolio
management and marketing, Ms. Egwuatu established Imperium Real Estate and
Construction Limited to offer properties at the right location, provide great asset
quality and transparent transactions for investors, no matter their investment
Ms. Egwuatu is an experienced Director with demonstrable history in the real
estate and construction Industry. She is skilled in real estate marketing, business
planning, real estate development and management.
Ms. Egwuatu is versatile, highly analytical and graduated top of her class. She was
on the Honors roll at the Wisconsin International University College Accra, Ghana,
from where she obtained a degree in Business Administration.

Henrietta ​Onwuegbuzie

Dr Henrietta Onwuegbuzie leads sessions in entrepreneurship on the MBA and Executive programmes at Lagos Business School (LBS), and is currently the Academic Director for the Owner-Manager Programme and Project Director for the Impact Investing policy initiative at the Lagos Business School.

She has an MSc (with honours), in Economics and Business Administration from the University of Navarre, Spain, an MBA from Lagos Business School and a PhD in Entrepreneurship, from Lancaster University, UK. Onwuegbuzie is also a globally certified management consultant and is a Fellow of the Institute of Management Consultants in Nigeria.

Prior to joining the LBS faculty, she managed educational projects for women’s development, in different states in Nigeria and subsequently, worked in the banking i​​​​​ndustry with key responsibilities for blue chip companies and multinationals in the corporate banking sector. Henrietta is a member of the Governing Council of the African Forum in Brussels and sits on the Board of a number of Nigerian companies. She has extensive consulting experience, spanning projects at the State level to conglomerates and SME’s in various industries and is an active member of the Nigerian Economic Summit Group. On a voluntary basis, she mentors a number of aspiring and established entrepreneurs.

Onwuegbuzie is passionate about economic development and social transformation in Nigeria and Africa, and has initiated the creation of over 100 profitable, social impact businesses through the MBA and Executive programmes at LBS. She has also presented papers at several international conferences on entrepreneurship and sustainable development. Her conference paper on integrating indigenous entrepreneurship principles into mainstream won the award for the best overall conference paper in 2011, at the IAABD conference in Canada. She also won the first prize 2010/2011 Emerald/ALCS African Management Research Fund Award. She has written several case studies in Entrepreneurship and Decision-making and won the first prize for the Emerald/AABS case writing competition in 2012. In 2013, she was conferred the African Women Development Champion Award by the Centre for Economic and Leadership Development. In the same year, she was appointed as one of the national mentors for the YouWin programme, an entrepreneurship development project driven from the office of the President of Nigeria. In 2014, she was nominated to serve on the Editorial Board of the African Journal of Management.

She was recently conferred a certificate of recognition in New York by LEAP, a UN working group under the Principles of Responsible Management Education (PRME) sector, in recognition of her ground-breaking work in developing change accelerators. She has been rated top 4% of among Nigerian top Executives in the education Management industry, and has featured in a number of television programmes at home and abroad, discussing economic policies and paths to sustainable development.

Her areas of interest include strategies for entrepreneurial growth and sustainable development in emerging economies, as well as low-cost, high impact business models that can be applied to both small and large-scale businesses.​
